Kashmir Great Lakes Trek Difficulty Level?

The kashmir great lakes trek can be a little challenging for you. It is going to be adventurous. You will need to walk 10–14 km every day, usually for about 5–6 hours, because we trek through high mountain passes and remote Himalayan terrain. It often gets dark early in the mountains, so we have to complete our trek on time each day. That’s why being physically and mentally fit beforehand is very important. At high altitudes, the body reacts differently. Some trekkers may experience mild headaches, fever, or fatigue due to altitude changes. The experienced trek leaders and team ensure proper guidance, safety measures, and support throughout the journey. The trail starts with a gradual climb to the Table Top (one of the few places during the trek where Airtel and Jio networks can be found) and the Nichinai Pass. Throughout the trekking route, trekkers pass through several steep ascents and descents. These multiple ascents and descents reduce the chances of AMS during the trek, as trekkers climb to a top point and then descend to a lower altitude point for night camping, but even then there are chances of AMS and breathing problems.
