Jwala Devi Temple is located atop the hill within the Benog Wildlife Sanctuary. The trek to Jwala Devi is considered one of the best one-day hikes in Mussoorie. It spans 6 km in total (3 km one way). The walk through the forest is truly beautiful. However, those who haven’t done any trekking before may find this one-day hike exhausting, although there are no steep climbs involved.

The trek starts from Clouds End. You will need to hike to the forest ranger’s office, which is approximately 1 km away. Upon reaching the office, you’ll need to pay the required fees to obtain permission for the trek.
