Har Ki Dun enjoys pleasant weather during the summer with temperatures up to 21 degrees and the lowest to -11 degrees in winter while the Valley of Flowers gets as hot as 17 degrees and as cold as -10 degrees.

The Har Ki Dun trek is most suitable for beginners and is comparatively an easy trek. Valley of Flowers, on the other hand, is moderately difficult. It can be done by beginners too with proper exercise and training.
