The Hemkund Sahib!

You can visit the beautiful Hemkund Sahib Ji, the highest Gurudwara of the world, situated at an astounding height of 4350 meters above sea level. The serenity of this Gurudwara is further beautified by the interesting frozen lake just behind it, which remains frozen for six long months. It was here that long ago, Govind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikh religion, meditated. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, oversaw and dedicated this holy book, the Dasam Granth, to it, making this Gurdwara one of great significance.

According to the Survey of India, this place is 4160 meters above sea level and encircled by seven magnificent Himalayan peaks, each of which has a Nishan Sahib engraved on its surface of rocks, around a pretty glacial lake.
