Nainital is a town of Kumaon division of Uttarakhand. It is a famous hill station of Uttarakhand. Nainital is surrounded by mountains and lakes; however, it includes a variety of attractions. Hence you have many places to visit nearby Nainital, here we are going to mention in detail the places to visit in Nainital. It is also rich in flora and fauna. Eco Cave Garden

In Eco Cave Garden, caves are interconnected to each other. However, there are hanging gardens as well. This is a family-friendly environment adventurous for both children and families. It is located in Sukhatal, Mallital road Nainital. The garden includes 6 caves which are in the shape of different animals. Thus, all the caves are named under the shape of a particular animal.

The anime of all the popular caves are Apes Cave, Panther Cave, Bat Cave, Tiger Cave, and Flying Fox Cave.

Along with caves, some gardens provide a relaxed and green landscape for tourists. The exciting part of the Eco Cave Garden in Nainital is the hanging garden. It includes suspended walkways and bridges and thus this seems like a lot of fun for a family vacation. Some important points that you have to consider are that you can visit the cave one time and it is Rs 60 for adults and Rs. 25 for children. This can be one of the great places to visit in Nainital. The Eco Cave Garden is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on all days. Moreover, the caves include many colorful lights and musical foundation that add more beauty to the caves

Nainital Zoo

Nainital Zoo is located on Sher Ka Danda hill with an altitude of 2,100m. Zoo has many endangered species like Tibetan, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Bear, Wolf, and Siberian Tiger. Birds included in the Zoo are Hill Partridge, Kalij Partridge, and Rose-ringed Parakeet. However, the Zoo includes other animals too like Leopard Cat and Barking Deer. The time of the Zoo is 9:30- am to 4: 30pm. on Monday and public holidays Nainital Zoo is closed.

Nearly the best time to visit is during summer from April to June and in the Autumn September to November. You will be able to see the beautiful view and get a chance to see such endangered species. Hence, this is one of the best places to visit Nainital. The entry fees for adults are Rs 50 and for children, it is Rs 20. However, there are certain charges for the camera.

Naina Devi Temple

This temple is one of the renowned temples. There is a lot of history to the temple. It is dedicated to goddess Sati and it is believed that when Sati burned herself then lord Shiva cut Sati’s body into 51 pieces with his Chakra. However, Naina Devi is the temple where the eyes of goddess Sati feel down and thus it is called Naina (eyes). It is one of the Shakti Peeth. This temple is located in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. As the temple is at the top of the hill, facilities like cable cars are provided to the pilgrims. However, if you want you can go there by walking. When talking about the best time, usually people visit there during Navratri which is between March and October.

Naina Lake

It is one of the most attractive parts of Nainital. This is the best place to visit Nainital. This lake is the 3rd biggest surface lake in Uttarakhand. The beautiful lake allows tourists to boating and paddling. Moreover, along with boating, you can enjoy the best view of the Nainital Lake and wholesome it’s a different vibe. this lake has 9 species of birds. You can also do Yacht sailing if you want to. Moreover, the best time to visit is summer from March to June. Nonetheless, in winter November to February is the better month because it’s quiet and you can feel snow.

The Mall Road

If you are visiting Nainital it’s important to visit Mall Road. It is very attractive due to its view and connects two ends of the town. Mall Road is basically for enjoyment which includes shopping and eating. Tourists will find all the necessary items for shopping and eating on the mall road. Kilbury Bird Sanctuary

However, when we talk about Sanctuary it means a forest covered with pine and oak trees and with Rhododendron. So, besides all the birds it has other elements too.

Bhimtal Lake

This is 22 km away from Nainital. Bhimtal Lake is larger than Naina Lake. This lake is very picture-perfect as it includes all the beauty and you will find an island in the middle where all the aquarium species are set. Along with all the beautiful scenery, boating is an attractive activity that you can do in Bhimtal lake. It has a rich history. Besides all boating there are places where you can do trekking and hiking so, it provides you more adventure.

Tiffin Top (Dorothy’s Seat)

This is the highest picnic place in Nainital. It is very famous among tourists because you get a view of Nainital from that highest point. It’s very popular so, sometimes tourists specially ask drivers to take them to that place. This is like trekking, so you get to have a trekking and hiking experience with an amazing view.
