Both HRTC and private bus services are available. Now you can take a local bus from Dharamshala to Ghera. Now you have to trek from Ghera to Kareri; it will take about 2 hours.
Chandigarh is also well-connected to various cities. The distance between Chandigarh to Dharamshala is 237 km and will take about 5 hours. Buses and taxi services are available from Chandigarh to Dharamshala. From Dharamshala, you can take a bus to Ghera or you can hire a taxi to direct Kareri village.
The nearest airport to Dharamshala is Kangra Airport at a distance of 15 km. You can take a bus or grab a taxi to Dharamshala. The nearest railway station to Dharamshala is Pathankot which is well connected from all major cities. It is about 90 km away from Dharamshala and will take about 3 hours only.
