Imagine embarking on an adventurous trek from the Sankri Campsite of the Phulara Ridge. Not only it was a willful decision to walk through an unexplored trail that led me towards the lovely location of Phulara Ridge Trek. This captures the whole feel throughout the whole trek from the village of Sankri and further through the part that is green during the rainy season which is Phulara Ridge.

Sankri – the Gateway to the Unexplored

The name ‘Sankri – the Gateway to the Unexplored’ has been well-suited as this place could perhaps offer a traveller something that no other place in the world can.

We started our trip in Sankri, famous for being the initial point for many treks. We were certain about finding this hidden gem: With ascending elevation from right to left, the following will be the available ridges to form a linear chain: Phulara Ridge. We chose a more adventurous way of reaching Juda Ka Talab from the usual trail, heading deep into the central reach of the Himalayas.

Warm and Cozy Refuge at Juda Ka Talab

The Juda Ka Talab is indeed a warm and cozy refuge away from the noise and bustle of the city.

On the first day we positioned at Juda Ka Talab, a quiet lake located at an altitude. Other trekkers went directly to Kedarkantha Trek, which is one of the best winter treks in Uttarakhand, but here we used the possibility to reveal the most attractive view of Phulara Ridge. More and more it has transformed into a warm paradise where one awaits the miracles of the night at Juda Ka Talab.

This brought us to the Push Tara region of Phulara Ridge and started the enthralling ridge trekking. The view above the ridge was spectacular and during the rainy season, there was a lot of greenery to complement the beauty of the scenery. Indeed, it was quite a blessing to travel this trail that is rather unknown or at least not explored in comparison to other popular ones.

A Scenic Symphony of Green Meadows

A native chose to name a composition with footage from his region by stating ‘A Scenic Symphony of Green Meadows.’ I realized that Phulara Ridge really presented a melodious view in the rainy season. Meadow greenery blended seamlessly with the mountain greenery to present a panorama of greens in every background. This time it was not merely a rewarding adventure but a rendezvous with nature where art was painted as beautifully as on canvas on the hills.

Best Ridge Walk on Phulara

I personally found the walk through Phulara Ridge to be a perfect experience particularly after having been told that it was the best ridge walk trek. Every move provided a great opportunity to enjoy the views, We were able to enjoy the specificity of the place. This must of course be complimented by the views of the tailored green season therefore the beauty of this trail will forever be etched in our memory.

As the rainy season begins, people cannot help but receive it with an open mind and heart to embrace it as a magical time.
There was enchantment in travelling on foot, especially when it was in the rainy season. The meadows were on either side of the brook and their fragrance full of rain and cool mountain breeze. This season witnessed the utopian transformation of Phulara Ridge into a secret garden tucked away in the Himalayas.

Phulara Ridge: Offbeat Charm

Instead of taking the most often-used path of trekking, I decided to go against it and find the enchanting Phulara Ridge. Finally, we managed to decline civilization’s loud music and were warmed by the atmosphere of wild outliers and miraculous nature that had been the main point of the travelling. Sticking to the norms of conventional roads made the journey more unique and exciting by going off the typical routes.

Riding the Rains of Phulara Ridge

I was very eager to shoot the rains; the rains gave more beauty to the location of Phulara. The soft pitter, patter sound of rain on leaves, mountains covered in fog and the sun shining on meadows gave me the feeling of a movie scene. factors of nature intertwined in a fairy tale kind of story.

Conclusion

Such a piece of poetry is “Sankri’s Warm Embrace – Journey’s End” which tells a story and conveys a message in the literary work.
Sankri embraced us during the final stages of the trek as we approached the place. The memories of this village took our unforgettable journey with us and were the best souvenirs among all that we have ever received here. I came to the conclusion that our journey to Phulara Ridge was nothing but a journey of discoveries where we were bestowed with numerous experiences.

As seen from our trip, the Phulara Ridge trek was a story of green greens. The Himachal with its bright notes to the Sankri valley and then the thrilling ridge walk and the greenish pastures was like the notes.
