Both of these are less known but offer a great experience to skiers. It is important to note that the ski slopes of Mandali are a little more steep perhaps, more challenging. So, if you hold experience and proficceincy in skiing, Mandali is a great Skiing spot in India for you. Otherwise, try Bugayal or Auli! Which are undoubtedly, no less.

3. Himachal Pradesh: Manali, Salong Valley, Narkanda

Himachal Pradesh is home to three Skiing spots in India. Manali is amongst the most popular ones and Salong Valley and Narkanda are amongst the lesser known. Skiers are gifted with 360-degree views of snow-capped mountains and an abundance of skiing courses in India available across these three destinations. Here, you will find many more winter sports like snowboarding, ice skating, and sledding. One can enroll in ski courses or even do a day’s ski here.

The price of skiing in India differs depending on various factors such as location and the duration/type of skiing activity you choose to do.

Generally, the cost includes ski equipment, lifting charges, training fees, and more. Skiing in India can cost anywhere from a thousand rupees to a few lakhs. For example, a day’s ski activity might cost you around 2,000 while a ski course in India starts from Rs.10,000. These prices are the minimum and starting prices.
