Pari Tibba meaning the " Hill of the Fairies; is a beautiful gradual ascent trek that starts near the Woodstock School in Mussoorie. As per the legend, it's said that Parri Tibba is a place where people have seen fairies dancing and singing songs. Parri Tibba circuit also has various tunnels (6 in total) which were created by many mining companies. The caves are still alive which still holds the extracts of mining from the early days. This place is also ideal for bird watching as one can spot several Himalayan species along the trail.

Pari Tibba trek distance is about three km from here to get to the hilltop with breathtaking views of Mussorie mountain ranges and Doon Valley. The trek route is via Barlowganj – Dhanaulti Road via Hillbird School – Woodstock School dormitories – Dhobhighat – Parri tibba. Vehicle access is to Woodstock School and the trek starts from this point. The hill is covered with several varieties of ferns and Rhodendrons blossoms in the month of April. Parri Tibba also has a temple of workshop. This area is a perfect picnic spot for day hikes around Mussorie and is a must-visit for tourists visiting Mussorie who are looking for a hint of adventure to add to their Itinerary.

Pari Tibba Itinerary

We start early morning from Dehradun Road towards Mussorie via Dhanaulti Road.
The drive is about two hours to Woodstock School in Mussoorie. From this point, we start our hike to Parri Tibba which is about 3 km from here and can be covered
within two hours time. We soak in the beauty of this hill and head back towards Dehradun by early evening.
